The Vantage DROPS app allows Dropped Object Inspections to be conducted electronically on offshore Rigs using an iPad and cover rated for Zone 2 hazardous areas. Data is captured within the app and transferred to the Vantage maintenance program via Bluetooth or email. The app is revolutionary in that it removes the need for paper checklists and allows the DROPS inspector to take photo’s real time of potential Dropped Objects.
